Happy
Mask Salesman
A very unusual fellow. Seems to
have a shop in whatever town is
the most prosperous of the time,
however, he usually travels
through Hyrule and other lands
with his large pack full of masks
(and apparently a musical
device). People in many far
seperated time periods have seen
a happy mask saleman, but those
few who have are not sure wether
it is a long line of salesmen, or
the same one. He has a very odd
way of moving, because instead of
actually going into a new
positoin and facial expression,
he is just suddenly in them. Some
signs show that he may be
distantly connected with Madame
Moda.
He appeared to Link in the ruins
of the temple of time and gave
him the Sylph mask in exchange
for the mysterious Anthy
mask.
Wraith, the Phantom
Horse
Link meets up with this
creature in the Temple of
Immortality. Although a first
glance Wraith looks like a normal
horse, he managed to get through
all of the traps and mazes within
the Temple, so it is clear that
there is a mysterious air to this
critter.
Truffle, the Shadow of
Power
Truffle is a very secretive
person. He wears a brown cloak
that covers his whole body, and
has the appearance of a druid. He
wears thick leather goves, and
not a single inch of skin shows.
He has a bulky build. He appears
to be a powerful sorceror, as he
can conjur powerful spells in
mere seconds. Truffle is not his
real name, as he tells Link to
just call him Truffle after going
through a list of possible names.
Nothing is known of his history,
except that he knows of the
Goomba magicians, of which Yomil
is one of, and his name is a play
on their name.
He meets Link in the ruined
streets of Hyrule, and decides to
help.
It
is known that he is extremely
powerful and possibly not
corporeal in nature. Kyneto is
very threatened by Truffle's
existance and has tried to
destroy him on several
occasions.
Puffy, the
Creampuff
The
name given to this odd creature
by Link which followed him around
the Immortality Temple. It looks
like a small pink creampuff with
red feet and cute oval shaped
eyes. It is much sturdier than it
looks, as it take a lot of
punishment without visible
injury. It can also swallow
enemies and take on some of their
traits.
The surprise (and possible fear)
of Derdekea and the great phoenix
suggests that there is much more
to this odd creature than it
would seem.
Kyneto, Keeper of the
Balance
Not much is known about the
strange armored man named Kyneto.
It's known that his true name is
Avian, and that Kyneto is
actually the name of the armor he
wears, which enhances his power.
Avian seems to originally come
from another universe outside
Hyrule or Termina, and it's
theorized he may have even come
from somewhere beyond the
connection of universes that
Hyrule and Termina are part of.
Even long before finding the
Kyneto Armor, he was able to use
telekinesis on a normal scale,
possess objects, and take any
form he wanted, although how he
was always able to do this is not
known. He claims that he is the
Keeper of Balance, although how
he ever got this title is yet
another mystery.
Centuries ago in Termina, he was
'assigned' to stop the imbalance
in Termina caused by Majora, and
so he possessed a minion of
Majora known as the Destroyer,
and led a rebellion against
Majora. The fusion of Avian and
the Destroyer became known as the
Fierce Deity. The Fierce Deity
eventually sacrificed himself in
a battle with Majora and the Four
Giants, so that both he and
Majora were trapped in masks.
Later, when the first Hero of
Time found the Fierce Deity Mask,
the fusion of the three became
Fierce Deity Link, who, after a
battle with Majora, separated
back into three beings. The Hero
of Time went back to his normal
form, while Avian again became
disembodied, and the Destroyer's
soul still remained trapped in
the Fierce Deity Mask.
The disembodied spirit of Avian
took a temporary physical form,
and soon encountered Madame Moda
in Termina. It is presumed that
he had encountered Moda before,
possibly in another universe,
although it is uncertain. He
journeyed with Moda throughout
more universes, eventually
reaching Hyrule. After a decade
in Hyrule, the major imbalance he
sensed, later revealed to be
caused by the creature called
Truffle, caused him to resume his
role as Keeper of Balance. To
gain more power to help restore
the balance, he stole the
mechanical Kyneto armor that
Madame Moda built, which was
designed to control movement and
sound waves, and possessed it,
enhancing his original
telekinetic powers.
After the return of Majora in
Termina, Kyneto again fused with
the Destroyer and the new Hero of
Time, reviving the being known as
Fierce Deity Link, if only for a
short time. Afterwards, Kyneto,
who now believed Truffle was
eliminated along with the
imbalance in Hyrule, decided to
stay in Termina with Madame Moda,
helping her to restore the
planet.
With the Kyneto Armor on, Kyneto
has a number of powers, and
nothing aside from very strong
telepathic attacks seem to affect
him at all. He is also able to
absorb a near-infinite amount of
energy, and when he has enough
energy stored he can do
incredible things, such as
creating portals to other
universes and altering time.
Kinopia, the Oracan:
This mysterious woman
Link recently met has the ability
to see patterns in time. From the
sketchy details that Link was
given, it is revealed that she is
in fact Darkrova's mother. She is
from Kinoko, thus Yomil knows of
her important rank as Oracan. She
alone has probably left more
mysteries than any other
character.
