Majora,
the Chaos Bringer:
The
Chaos Bringer, otherwise known as
Majora, is well known for
terrorizing the land of Termina,
where the very first Hero of Time
had had one of his first
adventures. Yet little is known
about Majora's past.
Majora was a Hunter, built by one
of the five groups of Ancients
that lived in Termina. Sticking
to 'his' design, Majora was an
excellent assassin and killed
many. He soon rose in power and
rank after he proved himself the
most efficient and deadly of the
Hunters. That is, the most
powerful besides the
Destroyer.
Inevitably, the two formed a
rivalry, and broke the Hunters
into two factions. As time
progressed, the Ancients began to
lose control of their destructive
creations and the Destroyer and
Chaos Bringer both took control
of their respective legions. The
Destroyer, created by the most
advanced state of the Ancients,
formed an artificial Moon as a
base of operations. Majora was
not able to attack his rival.
After years of strife, the
Talminian Ancients finally
devised a plan to destroy the
Hunters once and for all. One
plan was Empath and Vision,
created by the state known as
Ikana; but the Ancient
civillization of Ikana was
destroyed in a rare collaboration
of the two supreme Hunters'
forces who knew of the plan.
The second plan involved the
Giants, modifieds Hunter,
Preservers, which were created to
protect the land. The Four
Giants, created by the remanents
of the Ancient states, were used
to destract the Chaos Bringer and
the Destroyer while the last
Ancients used this diversion to
execute their final attonement
for their sins. Using the last of
their power, the Ancients trapped
the two destructive beings souls'
in masks, keeping them dormant
until they reawakened later.
Centuries later, Majora was
stolen from the Happy Mask
Salesman by a lone Skull Kid with
two Fairy friends, Tattle and
Tael. When the Skull Kid put on
the Mask, Majora was reawakened.
He took control over the imp, and
called down the Moon in which
Fierce Diety lay to challenge him
in a final duel. The Hero of Time
managed to stop the world from
destruction, and stopped the evil
Hunter.
After the events surrounding the
first Hero of Time's quest in
Termina, it seemed peace had
finally come to this land. All
the Hunters were either
eradicated or also put into
Masks. Majora's power had been
destroyed and the Mask's Spirit
had been released, and Soul
returned to its Temple; the mask
was acquired by the Happy Mask
Salesman. It is not known what
happened to the Fierce Diety (The
Destroyer) although many say that
its Soul and Spirit still exist
in this realm. An undeterminable
amount of time later, the land of
Termina faced an apocolyptic
event in which the whole realm
was turned into a barren
wasteland with no life. The
Madame Moda seems to know what
happened and thinks it is related
to the Unbalance in Hyrule
now.
Fierce Diety, the
Destroyer:
Fierce Diety was also present in
the Termina incident with the
first Hero of Time. However,
Fierce Diety seemed to be more of
an aid to the Young Hero. Fierce
Diety had been turned into a
Mask, like all Hunters, and had
stayed in the artificial Moon
that he had created. Majora
called down the moon as a
Challenge to Fierce Diety, making
the Moon a ticking timebomb to
the apocolypse. This, however,
brought people to believe that
the Moon was a manifestation of
Majora's power, rather than
Fierce Diety's. When the Hero of
Time doned the Mask, Fierce Diety
was awakened, and aided him in
his final battle with Majora.
After the battle with Majora,
Fierce Diety had mysteriously
disappeared, making any trace
about its wherabouts unknown.
Af Bri, the Elegy of
Mystics:
Madame Moda was told that her
most recent attempt to resurrect
more Hunters had failed.
Ironically, after she had
discarded the Specimens in the
acidic bays of Hyrule Bay that
Oriares and Af Bri awoke. Not
much is known about the two new
Hunters, except that they are
followers of Majora, and
appearently still feel the need
to kill Fierce Diety. Af Bri
actually has shown signs mental
inbalance. A prime example would
be when she slapped Oriares upon
her rescue and told him her name
was Elegy. Though Af Bri may have
a petite and frail form, she can
still stand up for her own. From
what we know, Af Bri is in
control of storm-like conditions
- at least lightning. Af Bri also
seems to be in tune with Magical
Fields.
Interestingly, Oriares commented
that Af Bri was in the third
stage of Hunter Developement. Her
exoskeleton seems to now be
seperate-looking from her
skin.
Af Bri's exuberance can quickly
turn into violence, yet she seems
to see nothing wrong in
detrouction. This makes her a
very dangerous figure.
Oriares, Dominar of
Cold:
Madame Moda was told that her
most recent attempt to resurrect
more Hunters had failed.
Ironically, after she had
discarded the Specimens in the
acidic bays of Hyrule Bay,
Oriares and Af Bri awoke. Not
much is known about the two new
Hunters, except that they are
followers of Majora, and
appearently still feel the need
to kill Fierce Diety.
Oriares has the ability to freeze
things. More specifically, he has
the ability to suck the heat from
things. Unlike most ice-based
attackers, Oriares can in turn
use this absorbed heat and send
it back as volotile energy,
making his arsenal hot and
cold.
Oriaires mentioned Af Bri was in
the third Stage of Hunter
developement. In Hunter
Developement there are three
known stages. The first stage is
where the only basic differences
between hunters is coloring. The
second stage is where they
develope gender, and their
appearances and abilities become
more distinct. Not much is known
about the third stage, as Af Bri
is the only Hunter two reach that
form. It is reasonable to assume
their powers grow even more
powerful. One drawback is that
Hunters become increasingly
'Strong Willed' which can lead to
mental instability.
