Detailed (Okay, Maybe Not) Bios of the Bad Guys

This page is for the bad guys of the series. That means all the villains and whatnot.

Darkrova, the Sorceress of Shadows:

She is a mysterious sorcress who masqueraded as a 'Lady Peach' from the Kingdom of Kinoko. After her arrival, the castle soon caught fire, when the Kokiri Saria, tried to stop her evil plans using the Kokiri Emerald. Darkrova twisted the Spiritual Stone's energy, causing the Castle to explode.

It is known that Darkrova attempted to kill Link and Zelda in the temple of Time, but through Anthy's intervention with the Master Sword, the Darkrova in the Temple was revealed to be a shadow which dissipated when it contacted the Holy Light of the Master Sword. Darkrova seems to be familiar with Derdekea and calls all of the passing events part of a 'game' in which she is trying to make Derdekea lose. Darkrova is powerful but her spells had no effect on Derdekea. In fact, Derdekea easily slammed Darkrova into the Death Mountain crater; but Darkrova was not seriously injured.

Darkrova prematurely caused Death Mountain to erupt, causing 'The Balance' to become unstable. The World of Hyrule was destroyed, but through Derdekea's own intervention, life still exists. Darkrova also seems to have caused the Flow of Time to be unstable, causing the world of Hyrule to experiance one hundred years, while the outside world only experianced ten, giving the inhabitants of Hyrule enough time to be twisted by the Poisons into creatures of Darkness. It is unclear whether or not Darkrova used Somaria's Talismans in this time to free the sought after Book of Durak, but only in body, not Soul. Darkrova has sent her minions to either corrupt, or become the Guardian of four Temples, yet it seems that someone or something is killing these Guardians before they can fulfill their mission.

Empath, the Soul Devourer:

EmpathOnce one of the 'Hunters' resurrected by Madame, Empath is now a radical and sadistic being with her own agenda, although for now she is forcefully Darkrova's servant. Unlike Vision, who is adrogenous, Empath is now female, claiming to have 'matured' into her new form as result of being corrupted by her contact with Palous' psyche. Empath soon went rouge and left the Madame's command; only following an almost painful feeling in her head which called her to the Forest. There she met up with Palous again, where it became appearent that they shared a bond of some sort, where they could hear each other's thoughts. The bond also served in aiding Darkrova's spell that caused Palous pain if he wasn't attempting to kill the Hero of Time; Empath was also affected by this due to her link with Palous.

After being non-active for a while, the Hunter resurfaced in its new body and kidnapped Chibi Yoshi in attempt to lure Vision to fight her. Although it seemed that the two were equally matched, it became all too apparent that Empath had become superior to Vision in combat; her regenerative abilities as well as her own phsychic powers easily countering Vision's attacks. She seemed to be killed when Vision used the 'spell' Psychokinesis, but managed to regenerate while Vision was unable to recover from its own spell. Empath now seems to be drawn to Palous; her motivations are unkown in any perspective. As such, she and Palous have 'joined' forces with Darkrova, most likely having their own motives as well.

One of Empath's favorite ways to kill something is to devourer their Soul. She can use it to feed on, or can actually convert it to volotile energy. This makes her the only creature in existance known to be able to destroy the force known as Soul at this time. Empath also can create Aura Strikes, whips of energy from he wrist. A curious attack indeed, for it seems to have many properties. At times it moves like normal whip, and others it can flow like ribbon. Still at other times it leaves trails of energy. It has even known to move as if it had a will of its own.

Empath used to have the disadvantage of not being able to fly. After her 'maturing' that changed. The spine-like wings that protrude from her back can be used to 'ride' on the Soul energy wavs. If all else fails, she can have the Souls carry her.

Empath has the ability to control or alter people's emotions; her destructive abilities deal with the use of auras. One of her more powerful abilities called 'Soul Body' creates energy clones which attack as Empath desires. When the copy of her own Soul comes in contact with another Soul, they disrupt each other. Empath can also regenerate from almost unbelievable amounts of physical trauma. Empath can launch organic needles which are covered in Soul Energy called 'Spray Anchors'. Some of Empath's more destructive 'spells' include:

  • Soul Storm: Empath causes a torent of Soul Bodies to be created to attack.
  • Aura Storm: Empath arcs energy out, releasing the Soul of those it touches.
  • Aura Shockwave: Unlike the weaker version of this attack called Aura Shock, Aura Shockwave's effects are permanant, which is just another way of saying fatal. This will shut down or disable all mechanical or organic things in the area.
  • Aura Irruption: Empath strikes her target with her Aura Strike, causing a violent explosion on contact.
  • Devastation: Empath permanently unbalances a person's emotions, disabling them forever. Although this 'spell' is does not require a lot of energy, Empath feels that this makes her battles too easy. It also seems that the proximity to the Master Sword inhibits this ability to affect the Young Heroes.
