Though this is a very
extensive overview, the end result will still be
shorter than reading the series yourself.

by name. The Madame leaves, and Urius cautions Link
against interacting with Moda.
Urius explains to Link that 'the Book' contains the
voices of the Goddesses, or all knowledge. He
continues to explain that Moda's servant had given
him the book because she feels that the Madame
might misuse its power. He explains that with 'the
Book' one can ressurect the Evil that the Champion
of the Goddesses fought in legend, or even the
Triforce.
Link continues with his work, and seeks Urius to
reveal who the girl in his dreams was. Urius is
missing, and the only clue is a secret passageway
found in the floor of the Temple.

be known as The Book of Durak.
More foreshadow is created when the Madame reenters
her shop. Madame's is appearently just a
guise, covering a much deeper world. In the back of
the little shop is a secret room refered to as the
Inner Sanctum. There, it is revealed that Derdekea
is much more powerful and imposing than the Madame,
and purposely let Urius have the book. The reasons

Aberi and Beyami are seen together again,
talking in their normal riddles. First, they

Palous. Next they talk of thei Valient

Then, using some sort of astral projection, manages
to get to the Great Fairy Fountain. There, Derdekea
summons the Great Fairy. At first, the winged woman
struggles, not being able to move on her own
accord. Derdekea asks where the Book of Durak had
been hidden. The Great Fairy admits to not knowing
the exact location of the relic, but trusts Urius
with it. Derdekea is infuriated with the divine
being for trusting a mortal. Derdekea reveals that
she had given Urius the Book in hope of him taking
it to the Freat Fairy. Derdekea wipes the Great
Fairy's memory, and seals her away. A spell is
cast, causing the Great Fairy to want to protect
teh book at all costs, even if her own life were at
risk. One line of note is Derdekea saying that the
Triforce's voices are silent to her. Urius bursts
in, and Derdekea's effigy disperses.
Back at Madame's, Derdekea relaxes from her
mental journey. She talks to the Madame, where they
discuss the start of the 'First Cycle'. Moda feels
that it is too early, and Derdekea agrees. They
talk of a boy, who appearantly has a vital part in
all of this. It is revealed that the Madame has no
home, and that she will take part in the coming
quest to save Hyrule, although the exact role the
Madame and her allies will play is still unknown,

to easily lose them. Palous managed to turn into a
Goron, and begin rolling up towards the Temple.
Link was anxious to get to the Festival, but was
forced to keep doing chores. Luckily, Urius showed
up, managing to relieve Link of his work. As the
Gradfather and Grandson reached the gate to Death
Mountain, they realized that it was almost torn
down. After a little argument with the guard, (the
guard said that a pack of Gorons had torn it down),
Link and Urius continue up the trail.
After the two had gone out of sight, the Guard
transformed back into Palous. He turned into a
Goron, and then raced up the Trail again.

a crowded bridge that led to the Temple. Just
when he thought that he would have to wait until
the next morning for there be an opportunity to
sneak by unseen, Palous was rewarded. The King
arrived in his carriage to go to the ceremony as
well. Quickly, Palous became the guard at the
gate of Death Mountain, and convinced the Kinf
to let him join in his defense. After Palous
crossed the bridge he quickly left to find the
Great Fairy.
Link, walked by complaining that they might miss
the Ceremony. He unknowingly drops the Pendant,

portal to another location. There she is greeted by
an omnipresent voice. She goes to her
laboratory.
In her lab, the Madame calls forth two specimens,
both looking like dehydrated skeletons. The Madame
proceeds to enact a strange ritual, awakening the

The ceremony about to begin, Link observes the
Temple grounds. Foreshadow about a Fourth Piece
of the Triforce is given. Link scowls at the all
the people gathered, seemingly blind in their
faith. As Link is watching, he spots the area
for the Royal Family. Though he had never seen
any of the royals before, Link sees something
familiar in a silver haired boy, who is presumed
to be the crown prince. Link remembers his dream
earlier, but quickly dismisses the idea that the
prince of Hyrule was in his dreams. Link also
realizes that the Pendant is missing.
Link tells Urius of the missing Pendant, yet his
grandfather only dismisses it. Urius leaves to
start the ceremony, as Link goes to find the
Pendant. Oddly, Link notices that one of the
crates in the back of the Temple was moving. As
he goes to investigate, Link rea;izes that there
was actually a person inside the crate.
Link tips it over, letting its contents sprawl
out. From the pile of Deku Sticks and hay a
young boy looks up at Link; a young boy that
Link recognizes....
During the ceremony, the Great Fairy, her name
revealed to be Somaria, calls out to Urius
telepathically. She worries for the Book of
Durak, much like Derdekea said she would. Urius
tries to keep her at bay, and continues with the
ceremony.
Link recognizes the boy in the crate to be
Yomil, from his dreams. Yomil is appearently a
wizard, and had accidentally warped here due to
powerful kinetic energy. The two are interrupted
by the ground beginning to shake.
Somaria loses it. She was being driven insane
from not being able to find the Book of Durak.
Finally, not being able to take it anymore, she
bursts forth from her Fountain below in a
crystal. It shatters, revealing her form to the
onlookers. The people at the Temple flee; that
is, everyone except Palous who is overjoyed at
not having to awaken her himself, and Urius,
Link, and Yomil frozen in shock.

Aberi and Beyami are seen acting out a father
shooting an apple off of his son's head. As their
dialogue goes on, it becomes appearant that this
symbolizes how some things can be pointless, but
that in the case of their Valient Knight,
all will be revealed soon.
Empath and Vision watch Somaria's rage. Using their
minds to be unseen, they continue to watch over the
area. They begin to sense Derdekea's influence, but
it takes them some time to recognize her
handywork.
Link and Yomil stand by watching Somaria, until
Link notices a young girl with purple hair watering
roses off to the side. Link finds it odd because
there had been no roses a few moments earlier. When
he looks away for a second the girl vanishes.

The temple was in a rage of uncontrollable
madness! Somaria demands that Urius hand over the
Book of Durak, yet Urius himself feels compeled to
resist. Perhaps greater forces were at work with
him as well. Nevertheless, Somaria commands Urius
as his superior to hand over the Book.
Meanwhile, Empath and Vision are still within the
Temple observing the disturbance. The two comment
on the appearance of the girl tending to the roses,
but quickly focus on the mission at hand: Palous'
nullification.
Palous advances on the Great Fairy after a quick
feeling of disturbance from the Prince of Hyrule.
Before Palous can sneak up to the divine being, she
quickly takes control of his body, entering his
mind. Palous also realizes two other voices in his
head, presumably Empath and Vision. The duo quickly
stop Somaria from trying to get any valuable
information from the Sheikah. Palous tells Somaria
his demands to rest the Souls he had taken. After
Palous used some tricks to work her pride, the
Great Fairy agrees to help the Chimera.
Aberi and Beyami gossip again, Aberi complaining of
heavy-heartedness while Beyami was feeling
particularly light-hearted. They both decide that
their hearts are Unbalanced, a term rather
important in theis story.
Chapter 14: Divine
Intervention - 2 Pages
Author: Zethar-II
Somaria, poised to perform the spell for Palous, is
quickily nullified by Derdekea intervening at the
last minute. After seeing Derdekea's figure,
Somaria's memories come back of her prior
confrontation with her. Sensing something from
Derdekea, Palous grows increasingly uncomfortable.
Derdekea seals the Great Fairy in her fountain as
punishment for straying from her orders.
Before departing, Derdekea decides that the Book of
Durak is safe enough "for now", and advises Yomil
and Palous to leave and have no part of the coming
events. She also instructed Urius to tell Link
"where he has to go" and lead him on his way. Urius
obeys, taking Link, and Yomil in tow out of the
Temple.
Alone with Derdekea, Palous gets engages a verbal
battle. It is assumed that Palous knows Derdeke, or
at least knows of her. He refers to her as the
Forgotten One. Derdelea responds by saying
that she allowed herself to be forgotten. It is
assumed that Derdekea is not mortal in one
statement where she calls Palous a "mortal human".
Annoyed, Derdekea throws Palous into a wall.
Link, Urius, and Yomil keep running from the
Temple.
Derdekea calls out to Empath and Vision, as if she
knew they were there the whole time. When the
Hunters reappear, Derdekea orders them to take the
Pendant that Palous had stolen back to Link. After
they left, Derdekea also vacates the Temple, right
after taking special notice of the symbol of the
Triforce, and the empty upside-down Triangle,
leaving Palous by himself, unconscious.
Chapter 15: Destinies
Decided - 5 Pages
Author: Oni_Link87
Confused, Link ran with his Grandpa and Yomil down
Death Mountain Trail. Link realized that the amount
of energy displaced in the commotion had agitated
Death Mountain itself. Inevitably, it would erupt
destroying most of Northeastern Hyrule. Link hopes
that the damage will stop there.
Urius too could not believe the events that had
unfolded. The Temple was in fact destoryed, the
people panicked. All he had was his faith in the
Goddesses to restore order. Urius also noticed the
signs of Death Mountain's iminent erruption. He
surmised that Volvagia must have been awakened.
Yomil ran, cursing himself for his mistake while
Jumping (warping). His thoughts also begin
focusing on the mysterious girl with Ppurple hair
he had seen in the Temple. Convinced that she was
an angel, or somehing like it, Yomil becomes
determined to find her.
Empath and Vision debate whether or not to follow
through with Derdekea's orders, or to report back
to the Madame. The look at the Pendant, recognize
the portrait inside to be that of the mysterious
purple haired girl in question. The two Hunters are
unaware that the portrait and song are different
from when Link looked into it. Also unaware that
the Madame had given Link the Pendant, the two
decide to report back to the Madame, thinking that
Palous was no threat if he could still not control
his power.. Vision displays its ability to fly, and
Empath displays its ability to traverse almost any
terrain with speed, ease, and grace.
Palous awakens within the leveled Temple alone. He
quickly remembers the events that had just
transpired, and of his inability to control his
morphing still ever present. Palous jumps down into
the Fairy Fountain, and manages to awaken Somaria,
knowing the secret of the Royal Lullaby. Somaria is
awakened again, though severely weakened. She
grants Palous his wish, in more of an attempt to
get rid of him than anything else. The Great Fairy
enters her slumber again, as Palous vows revenge
against Derdekea.
