Detailed (Okay, Maybe Not) Bios of the Good Guys

This page is for the good guys of the series. That means the usual lineup of the Hero of Time and such. Basically it's the main characters.

Link, the Hero of Time:

Link and AnthyThe so called Hero of Time. He himself did not believe in such things as magic and destiny, but his views are starting to change after all that has happened to him so far. He has been lightly trained with the sword, his father's sword in particular. His father died when he was young, and he and his mother used to run an Inn at Kakariko Village. He helped his Grandfather from time to time.

After the fateful events at the Temple and subsequent events, such as the encounter with Anthy and the Master Sword, to traveling to the Temple of Forest to use its energy to make the Sword 'whole'. The Temple of Forest was where he dueled with Palous only to be interupted by the eruption of Death Mountain. He was saved when Anthy pushed the group ten years into the future.

He now travels with his companions Draco, Yomil, and Zelda. They have, through Anthy's power, traveled ten years in the future. They were on a mission to retake the Talismans of Somaria and have each gone to a Temple. Link went to Temple of Immortality which now stands on the ruins of the Temple of Time. He encontered a mysterious man only known as Truffle. After beating the Temple, Link sadly had to face Zelda and the Rovas after being warped to the Temple of Silence.

Link even travelled to Termina while trying to find Achaiah as Moda had taken Zelda there to be healed. Link and his group ended up facing Palous, now known as Malous after his merging with Majora, as well as Oriares and Elegy. After merging with an entity known as the Fierce Diety as well as Kyneto, Link defeated Malous.

Link's next quest was to return to the original task of the Talismans and ventured to Darkrova's floating palace to confront the shadow sorceress herself. Only by defeating Darkrova can the Book of Durak be opened.

Link is now powerful swordsman, relying more on power than skill, as compared to Draco who is the opposite. Link also has a bow and arrow as well as an Ocarina ( a mysterious gift from the Forest Sage Saria), although he has never used it since the initial learning of the songs. For a brief time Link had magic, but the Phoenix of the Temple of Immortality removed his abilities to test him in a fight. Armed with the sacred Master Sword, or the Sword of Evil's Bane, Link fights the forces of Darkness in an effort to save the past.

Will Link find victory? When will his quest be finally over?

Zelda, the Sage of Time:

ZeldaThe well known Princess of Hyrule. She has the ability to forsee the coming of Evil in the form of dreams. She has much faith in Link's ability to save the land. Both her parents were killed recently in a tragic fire in the castle. Her trusted friend and nurse, Impa, had also left the castle, so all she has left is her older brother Draco, and Link. She has been trained by Impa in the art of the Sheikah, though she is probably not aware of such an event happening. She is not very fond of the girl Anthy, and does not believe that she has any place with them. Zelda calls Anthy an "Evil Witch" time and time again. She witnessed Link and Anthy on top of the Late Deku Tree, and holds a secret grudge to the two. Could this be turned against our Heros?

Zelda was one of the five people pulled through time, and has matured nicely. Zelda was sent to the Temple of Silence and uniwillingly accompanied by the Chibi Yoshi. However, tragedy struck when it was revealed that the Shadow Girls had taken over the Temple andmanaged to 'persuade' Zelda to join their ranks by playing off her feelings for Link. Later, when the others came to her rescue, it was Zelda who vicously attacked Link and Anthy, hoping to kill the latter. Yet she managed to regain her conscience, only to be totally mind controlled by the Rova Sisters who revealed that they were the Shadow Girls. Although Link defeated Twinrova and Clayaty after Anthy enchanted the Master Sword, victory was empty as the Shadow Girls fatally wounded Zelda as they were sent back into the darkness.

Zelda was saved by Madame Moda, but even this was complicated because Zelda had been so close to death that she had accepted her fate. When she was brought back, she rejected life in a show of decathexis and is unresponsive at best to those around her. Although she travels with the group, she doesn't seem to really care what happens to her.

Will Zelda ever choose to live again?

Yomil, the Sorcerer of Time:

Yomil?!A young wizard who has traveled from the Kingdom of Kinoko. He is one of the Goombas, or wizards who have been nicknamed for their use of mysterious mushrooms by the same name. Goombas are divided by their level of skill, depending on how long they have been studying. In their standards, Yomil has the knowledge of a Ninth Year. Although he may be a Ninth Year equivalent, Yomil was banned from schooling by the Scribes, the ruling body of the Kingdom of Kinoko, after Yomil had given away information to those who did not deserve.

Yomil developed his magical abilities during his jump through time. He has learned the ability to fly, and his magic itself seems more powerful. In fact, he is theoretically one of the most power ful characters with the use of some of his spells, such as the Elemental Storm which was powerful enough to char the Hunter Oriares into a burnt crisp (although the Hunter survived).

Yomil traveled with Madame Moda into the Temple of Blood and faced the sneaky and disgusting Zethius as well has the violent Gordrills, mutated descendents of the once peaceful and laid-back Gorons.

Slightly timid and thoughtful in nature, Yomil has adjusted very well considering that fact he was pulled into this quest to save Hyrule and the world after a teleportation spell misfire which dumped him in the Death Mountain Temple.

Draco, the King of Time:

Draco The crown prince of Hyrule. He is Zelda's older brother and tries to look after her. He is aware of Zelda's feelings for Link, but doesn't bring up the topic. When the quest first started he had some training in the use of the sword, but had no real combat, or 'Hands On' experience. He ventured into the future, along with Link, Zelda, and Yomil.

Draco has reunited with the Zoran Princess Luto outside of the Rain Temple. He travels with her inside the acidic depths of the elusive construct. As a result, Draco gained the Hook Shot, and most importantly, a Zora mask which allows him to change form. After the temple he also was given the Harmony Blade from Luto as a gift.

Now an adult, he is an excellent swordsman who has excellent form and technique, aided by the elgant and deadly Harmony Blade. As a Zora he can swim underwater and shoot boomerang fins from his forearms. His most powerful attack is an electrical shield which he can generate, although this does consume a great deal of energy. Draco can also do a Sword Spin attack with magic.

Anthy, the Bride of Light:

AnthyThe mysterious girl known as the Bride of Light has many peculiar abilities and a supernatural air about her, one of them being that she never seems to be affected by some laws of physics. For reasons unknown, Anthy can also summon the Master Sword. Despite what it seems, she does not pull the sword out of her chest, mearly summoning it in a focal point of energy at that location. She now follows Link to ensure the safety of the world. She says that her destiny will hurt the Hero of Time, but the details of that are unclear.

Anthy has also been referred to as Anthriel. It is not known if this is her true name or what its significance. In particular, other divine characters or at least the mysterious and powerful characters often call her by this more formal sounding name.

Anthy has a strong relation to roses, in that they seem to symbolize her and are often associated with her. For example, when Link first sees her she is in a rose garden, and later at the ruins of the Temple of Time, he sees the area overgrown with rose vines. Other examples include the use of the black rose to enchant the Master Sword and the rose on her chest.

It is known that Anthy has some sort of magical power, although until very recently she has shown no offensive ability. She can levitate and teleport, the latter scattering rose petals in the air. Rose petals also seem to indicate other various magics she casts. Her most impressive abilities including singing magical songs such as the Song of Storms which can strike lightning and rain. Her most recent abilities show that she can create powerful beams of light as well as create barriers of light.

Still, there is nothing really known about her true prupose. What could be the Secret of the Bride of Light?
